NOT-for-profit, Twin Hearts Inc, will host a Red Carpet themed Love Your Sister Ball on Saturday, 12 October at the Civic Hall.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s the first ball Twin Hearts Inc has organised, welcoming Gold Logie Award Winner and Love Your Sister Co-Founder, Samuel Johnson OAM to Ballarat for the evening, while Motor City Sounds provide entertainment.<\/p>\n
Kelly-Louise Austin, President and Founder of Twin Hearts Inc can\u2019t wait to donate 90 per cent of ticket sales, and all money raised on the night, to the breast cancer charity, which currently has a $10 million goal.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo hear Samuel speak is going to be amazing,\u201d she said. \u201cWe\u2019re looking forward to making this really memorable and raising as much money as we can.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have a few surprises up our sleeves. It\u2019s a red carpet, formal function, so it\u2019s a really good excuse to get dressed up and get your family and friends together,\u201d Ms Austin said.<\/p>\n
Ms Austin established Twin Hearts Inc to give back to the community and beyond.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have spent time working and living in Kenya and Tanzania, and I am extremely passionate about helping to break the poverty cycle for women and children around the world. Twin Hearts is my way of doing so,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Ten per cent of ticket sales will be directed to a special sister project in Tanzania. Details will be announced at the ball.<\/p>\n
