{"id":22626,"date":"2019-07-10T17:56:34","date_gmt":"2019-07-10T07:56:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/?p=22626"},"modified":"2019-07-11T08:12:46","modified_gmt":"2019-07-10T22:12:46","slug":"ray-white-ballarat-raises-7700-for-drought-angels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/real-estate\/ray-white-ballarat-raises-7700-for-drought-angels\/","title":{"rendered":"Ray White Ballarat raises $7700 for Drought Angels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Agents come together to help raise $7700 for the Drought Angels charity following their \u2018Sale for a Bale\u2019 drive.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>RESIDENTIAL, rural and commercial sales consultants have all made donations from the commission of each sale over a three-month fundraising campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Ray White Ballarat Residential Sales Consultant Paul McGourlay said it was very important to keep the connection between the leading real estate group and Australian farmers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe reason it\u2019s so important for us to have this link to the droughts across Australia is because farmers are such an integral part of this country,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWithout them, we wouldn\u2019t have the lovely fresh produce we have in our supermarkets today and when we\u2019re in a position to help people in hard times, that\u2019s exactly what we should do.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s great our whole team pulled together for such an important cause.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ray White Rural and Livestock Chairman Paul White said he wanted to make sure the group gave something back to rural Australia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the last year in particular, farmers across the country have been doing it particularly hard, so it\u2019s only right we do what we can to help support them,\u201d Mr White said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter a rainfall or two, people seem to forget the strife they\u2019re in and move on, so it\u2019s up to us to continue to help them in any way we can.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s fantastic to see the generosity of the Ray White Ballarat team and no doubt the money will go towards a great cause like extra bales for our hard-working farmers.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Agents come together to help raise $7700 for the Drought Angels charity following their \u2018Sale for a Bale\u2019 drive.
