They\u2019re friendly and wanting to be amused, so you\u2019re not fighting from the moment you get on stage. That\u2019s really cool,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Fleet is keen to get back to Ballarat, where he enjoys the caf\u00e9 culture, and deliver a \u201cgood time\u201d to comedy goers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll be doing some brand-new jokes, some that I\u2019ve done before, and I might do some Balla-centric material,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019ll just be fun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kicking off the show at 8pm, Ballarat comic Tim Young is looking forward to being MC for the night.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI grew up on the comedy stylings of Greg Fleet, so to appear on the same bill as him will be a highlight of an otherwise fledgling career,\u201d Mr Young said, the founder of Locally Grown Funnies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe certainly takes you on a comedic ride like nobody else can!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s also an opportunity to catch up and coming Ballarat comics, Scott Angove, Tosh Walker, Chido Mwat and Stevie Stix as they round out the bill alongside Fleet.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are $15 via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trybooking.com\/book\/event?eid=462695&amp;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>trybooking.com.au\/bailz<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Fleet is currently in the process of adapting his popular novel <em>The Good Son<\/em> into a television series.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>COMEDY veteran, Greg Fleet is heading up to Ballarat to perform live on Friday night.
