SING Australia Ballarat & Ballarat North, along with The Little Brass Band and special guests Piper Brad Saul and soloist Meaghan Sullivan are presenting a concert of music and song that they hope will create lasting memories.<\/p>\n
They are all taking part in the fundraising concert aimed at supporting the important work undertaken by Lifeline Ballarat and its volunteers to are there for people in crisis.<\/p>\n
Carolyn Priddle, leader of the two Sing Australia groups in Ballarat said that the annual fundraising concert is an opportunity for the organisation to really shine.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis year we can think of no better organisation to support than Lifeline. Last year it was literally standing room only in the Neil Street Uniting Church and we hope very much that it will be a similar experience with the community getting right behind us to raise funds for this important local organisation,\u201d Ms Priddle said.<\/p>\n
Program Manager for Lifeline Ballarat Michelle MacGillvray said how delighted she was that Sing Australia had chosen to support Lifeline.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt means a lot that Sing Australia has chosen us. There are many connections to Lifeline throughout the local community. The bonds are very strong and emphasises the importance of our work as we approach nearly 50 years since a group of Uniting Church parishioners established Lifeline in Ballarat,\u201d Ms MacGillvray said.<\/p>\n
