THE State government\u2019s School Breakfast Club Program is set to expand next year, with a further fifty-eight-million-dollars.<\/p>\n
Five hundred more schools are set to jump on board this program which will soon offer lunches and school holiday supplies, alongside breakfast, to children in need.<\/p>\n
Member for Buninyong, Michaela Settle has volunteered at Sebastopol Primary School\u2019s Breakfast Club for the past few years, where the new lunch program is soon to start.<\/p>\n
\u201cBrekky Club\u201d is the nicest hour of her week.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s lots of research to show that children learn better with a full tummy. I\u2019ve seen firsthand the difference it makes,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
SPS Class Captain, Kristina loves her school breakfasts.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s quiet. I feel happy and calm,\u201d she said. \u201cWithout it, I wouldn\u2019t really do much work, I\u2019d just do scribbles.\u201d<\/p>\n
