It has a soft sticky texture with a complex sweet yet savoury umami flavour and pairs perfectly with cheese, meats and even desserts.<\/p>\n<p>In their short time in business, Springmount Fine Foods has won a host of medals for their sauces, vinaigrettes, fruit pastes and of course their black garlic. Just last week they picked up the ultimate prize by winning the 2019 Federation Business School Commerce Ballarat Business Excellence Award for the Eat Drink West category.<\/p>\n<p>You will find their products in specialty stores and wineries across the region or at one of the many food and wine festivals throughout Victoria where they also sell their famous Strawberry Pearls for Champagne.
