ORGANISERS of this year\u2019s Clunes Show have announced that the 2020 event has been cancelled.<\/p>\n
The Show was set for Saturday, 21 November, however due to ongoing concerns around the COVID-19 pandemic, the Clunes and District Agricultural Society has called the event off.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are an active and long-standing volunteer committee with over 65 members and are disappointed that we cannot hold what was due to be the 160th Clunes Show,\u201d organisers said in a statement.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe would like to thank all our sponsors, exhibitors, patrons, stewards and judges for their ongoing support.<\/p>\n
\u201cAdditionally, thanks to the large number of other members of the Clunes community whose contribution is critical to making each show a success.\u201d<\/p>\n
While this year\u2019s event isn\u2019t going ahead, a date for the 2021 Clunes Show has been set. It\u2019ll run on Saturday, 20 November next year.<\/p>\n
