At the time, I hardly had any work out there, as I was at the start of my art journey,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s exciting. My business has grown really rapidly since April. I got picked up by a couple of shops in Melbourne and now I\u2019m working full-time as an artist.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe more exposure I get, the more work I get and can keep the ball rolling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>First discovering painting as a teen, Jackson returned to the \u201cfreedom\u201d of art practice almost a year ago after a long hiatus, working as a hairdresser and in retail.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve got kids, they grew up and I needed to fill in my time a bit, so I\u2019ve come full-circle, really,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just love working with colour. I don\u2019t have a plan when I start, I just pick colours and it all comes out intuitively.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m living this dream I never thought I\u2019d be able to live.
