Rapidly, it grew.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI saw so much joy on my children\u2019s faces when spoons were being added to their Spoonville,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/goldfieldsgirl.com\/2020\/09\/13\/ballarat-spoonville-guide\">Discovering Goldfields Girl, AKA Deneale Deppeler, had started a blog about Ballarat\u2019s many Spoonvilles<\/a>, Ms Heyne\u2019s family visited the other locations.<\/p>\n<p>She then decided to launch her own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/spoonville_ballarat\/\">Instagram page dedicated to the spoons of the city.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople can have a look at the beautiful spoons around Ballarat, and it\u2019s a point they can come to, to find these Spoonvilles or share their own,\u201d Ms Heyne said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re popping up all over the place in people\u2019s front yards, in communal spaces like the Scott Parade walking track, or at primary schools.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople are out walking a lot more because of the current situation, so there\u2019s lots around to see.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_71813\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-71813\" style=\"width: 225px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-71813\" src=\"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2020\/10\/20201001_145928-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-71813\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Bluey and Bowie: A few of Scott Parade\u2019s Spoonvillians.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>When her family has been visiting their own Spoonville, Ms Heyne said people have stopped to have a look, and can\u2019t help but smile.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s something so simple that\u2019s making people happy and joyful as they discover them. It\u2019s something we all need at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf people are going to make them, think about unpredictable Ballarat weather.
