Former Federation University Associate Professor Bob O\u2019Shea will take on the top job, replacing 19-year board veteran Mark Schultz.<\/p>\n
Mr O\u2019Shea retired from FedUni in 2018 after 17 years with the higher education institution. His last role was the executive dean of the Faculty of Business, which includes Federation Business School.<\/p>\n
He\u2019s also worked leadership and executive management roles in the telecoms, oil and gas, water, tourism and higher education sectors.<\/p>\n
During Mr Schultz\u2019s near two decades with BGT he spent 14 years as board chair and oversaw significant growth in the organisation.<\/p>\n
In the 2020 annual report BGT CEO Graham McMahon acknowledged Mr Schultz\u2019s service.<\/p>\n
