Calls for expressions of interest on the old Bannockburn Shire Hall have gone out.<\/p>\n

If the process seems familiar, it is, with the site first being approved for EOI in March by the then council, and subsequently offered up in mid-May, only to be curtailed by the second wave of the pandemic.<\/p>\n

The first process failed to find a suitable lessee for the site.<\/p>\n

Located at 12 High Street Bannockburn, the building was used as council meeting chambers until the new Golden Plains Civic Centre was opened in mid-2020.<\/p>\n

The site features two large spaces, including the former council chamber, a kitchen and bathroom, further smaller rooms and is all-abilities accessible.<\/p>\n

Zoned commercial 1, the old Shire Hall sits next to the Bannockburn Plaza, which itself is set for overhaul in the future.<\/p>\n

The EOI process for the building closes at by 9am on Monday 11 January.<\/p>\n
