Photos: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Alex Power, the founder of local food delivery service, Delivr has partnered with Kilderkin Distillery, Karon Farm Coffee and Revolution Print to produce, bottle and label Cambrian Hill, a premade espresso martini.<\/p>\n<p>The software developer said the Delivr team enjoy brainstorming \u201ccreative, cool, hyper-local\u201d project ideas to support and promote the city\u2019s small businesses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cComing out of winter we thought, what can we do to bottle a little bit of summer in one great experience, as we head into the \u2018roaring 20s,\u2019\u201d Mr Power said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve always wanted to create a physical product, because everything I\u2019ve done before has been software-based, and we knew the espresso martini was the most popular cocktail in Australia.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sourcing the award-winning Lal Lal Falls blend from Karon Farm Coffee and getting Kilderkin Distillery on board, Mr Power said the collaboration &#8211; developed from &#8220;the ground up&#8221; under the Distillery&#8217;s banner &#8211; has felt \u201clike winning the lottery.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_73360\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-73360\" style=\"width: 142px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-73360\" src=\"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2021\/01\/20201210_195548-142x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"142\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-73360\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Behind the scenes.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re really proud of Cambrian Hill. We don\u2019t say it\u2019s made in Ballarat, we say it\u2019s made by Ballarat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKilderkin\u2019s Chris Pratt has such a rich, in-depth knowledge of the entire distilling process and how to make flavours come alive. His products blow your mind. It\u2019s the best gin in Victoria,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKaron Farm\u2019s blend brings a very rich, warm coffee taste to the cocktail, with chocolate notes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr Power said the martini isn\u2019t harsh to drink, but has a sweetness, and is designed to be drinkable at any time of the day.<\/p>\n<p>Luke McPherson, chief roaster at Karon Farm Coffee, said Mr Power \u201cworked hard\u201d to get the taste he was after, with the Lal Lal Falls blend \u201cfitting perfectly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve tasted quite a few premade espresso martinis before and they\u2019ve never really hit the spot, but this one really has. They\u2019ve done a really good job,\u201d Mr McPherson said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_73361\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-73361\" style=\"width: 225px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-73361\" src=\"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2021\/01\/received_3676683479064738-225x300.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-73361\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cambrian Hill team members, Sarah Pollard and Alex Power.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Cambrian Hill is ideally served shaken, \u201ca little bit frothy,\u201d and in a martini glass.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll the planets aligned.
