{"id":73829,"date":"2021-02-10T04:56:45","date_gmt":"2021-02-09T17:56:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/?p=73829"},"modified":"2021-02-05T13:53:58","modified_gmt":"2021-02-05T02:53:58","slug":"locked-in-for-volta-show","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/news\/locked-in-for-volta-show\/","title":{"rendered":"Locked in for Volta show"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KICKING off her eight-date regional tour, Melbourne songwriter and visual artist Jess Locke is set to headline a set at Ballarat\u2019s Volta on Friday, 12 February, supported by local solo artist Tim Currie.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m very excited, it will be great to be able to play some shows face to face with people,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve played a couple of solo shows at the end of last year after being in lockdown for so long, and that was really nice so it will be really nice to get back on the road and be able to play to people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBallarat\u2019s great, it\u2019s just down the road so it\u2019s always nice to get a chance to pop in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Locke\u2019s regional Victorian tour comes ahead of the release of her upcoming album Don\u2019t Ask Yourself Why.
