{"id":73893,"date":"2021-02-11T04:56:58","date_gmt":"2021-02-10T17:56:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/?p=73893"},"modified":"2021-02-11T09:16:02","modified_gmt":"2021-02-10T22:16:02","slug":"feedback-is-in","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/news\/feedback-is-in\/","title":{"rendered":"Feedback is in"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OUTCOMES from a range of community consultations run across Golden Plains Shire are set to be actioned in the coming weeks and months.<\/p>\n<p>February\u2019s council meeting should see the results of at least three feedback processes presented with the Draft Active Ageing &amp; Inclusion Plan, the Draft Community Engagement Policy and the Inverleigh Play Space Name all slated to make the agenda.<\/p>\n<p>While it\u2019s a statutory requirement that the Community Engagement Policy be in place by the start of March, a decision on the new name of the Inverleigh play space could take a bit longer.<\/p>\n<p>A number of people have requested to speak at the February meeting following a community vote on four different options: Leigh River Park, Inverleigh Community Park, Inverleigh Play Park, and <em>Yerram Yaluk Bun<\/em>. 115 people voted as part of the naming process.<\/p>\n<p>On council\u2019s radar at a future meeting is Cambrian Hill bore. Between 15 December and 15 January, the municipality undertook community consultation on the infrastructure following a move to close the bore, stand and tank at Heinzs Road for safety reasons. 75 people from Cambrian Hill, Ross Creek and Napoleons took part in that process.<\/p>\n<p>Outcomes from consultation on the Bannockburn Growth Plan are now available. The process was run by the Victorian Planning Authority last year and included nearly 80 comments and engagements, both written and through other means.<\/p>\n<p>Visit <a href=\"http:\/\/vpa.vic.gov.au\/project\/bannockburn-growth-plan\"><strong>vpa.vic.gov.au\/project\/bannockburn-growth-plan<\/strong><\/a> to see the outcomes, while the report and amendments to the planning scheme will now head to a special VPA committee before landing on the desk of the state Minister for Planning.<\/p>\n<p>Also heading the minister\u2019s way is the outcome of the Teesdale Structure Plan. He\u2019ll now have to form an independent planning panel to consider the document, which received 22 comments as part of the second round of community consultation on the issue.<\/p>\n<p>Back in the north of the Shire the nine people who expressed interest in taking part in the new Linton Shire Hall Committee of Management will soon find out if they have been successful in joining the group.<\/p>\n<p>Nominations for the committee ran during December while an information day was held mid-January on the issue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OUTCOMES from a range of community consultations run across Golden Plains Shire are set to be actioned in the coming weeks and months.
