But the family is not just visually artistic. Newly formed folk-rock band, Aunty Blue performed their debut gig at the Fiesta featuring son, Harrison Doust on guitar.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur band was coming together, but we didn\u2019t have any live events, so the Fiesta has been the perfect gig for us,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s been a special family event for us. The night before, we were all at home just up the road practicing, jamming, and they were setting up their stall.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sylvia said it\u2019s the \u201cbest feeling\u201d to share a passion for art with her children, and to see an audience enjoy it.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s special that we\u2019re all here as a family getting to know other local artists. It was Monique and my first stall together, like a \u2018coming out.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s exciting to see what will happen with Aunty Blue. I know they will do really well, with gigs already booked in Melbourne, but it\u2019s nice for them to be sharing their talents at home,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
