FAMILY support service Eureka Mums hope to open their larger Sebastopol premises in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

Still at the same location, operations manager, Trinsa Lewis said previous neighbouring tenants at the front of the building have moved, so her team has gained access, spreading out Eureka Mums\u2019 operations.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been really helpful, because we were squashed in our area for quite a while,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt means we\u2019ll be able to have more volunteers. Over the last 12 months, we had to restrict our volunteer numbers in the building just so we could properly socially distance ourselves.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will allow us to take more donations. We\u2019ll be able to process more donated items, and hopefully help more families this way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Once open, volunteers will still be taking bookings for donation drop-off times, however the on-site processes are changing.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis time, you\u2019ll be coming in the front of the building, not around the side. We\u2019re changing the gate,\u201d Ms Lewis said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe really appreciate the way people have easily embraced the idea of booking in for drop-off. It works for us all.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cots are always in high demand, alongside good quality, clean clothing that you would be \u201cwilling to give onto your best friend\u2019s children.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLarger sizes, up to a children\u2019s 16, we are desperate for all the time. That size usually fits a 12-year-old,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Volunteers are currently organising the new space, but working limited hours, so may not respond to email correspondence quickly.<\/p>\n

They encourage those willing to donate to keep an eye on the website and social media for updates, and the optimum times to make contact.<\/p>\n

In the weeks after their relaunch, Eureka Mums may also be on the lookout for more volunteers.<\/p>\n
