{"id":76336,"date":"2021-06-18T04:54:55","date_gmt":"2021-06-17T18:54:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/?p=76336"},"modified":"2021-06-24T09:15:47","modified_gmt":"2021-06-23T23:15:47","slug":"sheep-show-gets-new-date","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/news\/sheep-show-gets-new-date\/","title":{"rendered":"Sheep show gets new date"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THE Ballarat Agricultural and Pastoral Society has announced that the Victorian Sheep Show, supported by Ballarat Grammar has been rescheduled to Sunday, 4 July to COVID-19 lockdown impacts.<\/p>\n<p>Originally set for 20 June, organisers said the new date was contingent on future coronavirus restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter missing the event in 2020 due to COVID-19 BAPS is looking forward to hosting some of Victoria\u2019s best stud sheep breeders while also creating a celebration around fibre, local food and wine, fashion and farm,\u201d a statement from BAPS said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPending any further COVID-19 restriction updates, the event will continue as planned on the rescheduled date of 4th July.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Taking place at the Ballarat Showgrounds, and along with the four-legged woolly wonders the event will also feature farming machinery, equipment and service displays, fashion parades and a lamb butchery exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019ll also be cooking events with MasterChef contestant and toasty tzar Time Bone and the odd tipple from Michael Unwin Wines.<\/p>\n<p>To keep up to date on the event visit <strong>victoriansheepshow.org.au<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>THE Ballarat Agricultural and Pastoral Society has announced that the Victorian Sheep Show, supported by Ballarat Grammar has been rescheduled to Sunday, 4 July to COVID-19 lockdown impacts.
