AHEAD of the Federal election, the Liberal Party are opening a local campaign office in the CBD.<\/p>\n
The shopfront that is 420 Sturt Street, now named Liberal House, will begin operating for two days a week initially, when COVID safe to do so, and its opening hours will scale up as election times grows closer.<\/p>\n
Victorian Senator Sarah Henderson said the party will \u201cvery seriously\u201d contest the Federal seat of Ballarat seat, currently held by long-time Labor member Catherine King.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs patron Senator for Ballarat, I am very pleased to be working with local Liberals on behalf of the Morrison Government to ensure the people of Ballarat have their voice heard in Canberra,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The Liberal Party\u2019s Ballarat Federal Electorate Conference chair Chris Findlay said Liberal House is the first formal campaign office the organisation has ever had in the city, and that they\u2019re currently in the process of selecting a candidate to contest the seat.<\/p>\n
