THE Rotary Club of Ballarat is encouraging people to snap up tickets for their 2021 SpringFest Online Raffle fundraiser before it concludes on 30 November.<\/p>\n
Eureka Trailers, G. Gay & Co, the Regent Cinemas, Raintree Art, Ballarat Taxis, and Cyclescape have all donated prizes to generate funds for SpringFest\u2019s community partners.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s beneficiaries include the Ballarat Chinese Dragon Boat Club, Bungaree Primary School, Miners Rest Primary School and Kindergarten, Mount Egerton Primary School, and Phoenix P-12 Community College.<\/p>\n
Some of the money raised will also be injected into local and international Rotary projects including Phoenix\u2019s Blue EDGE program.<\/p>\n
Springfest director Rob Glass said the committee is disappointed they can\u2019t get the city\u2019s residents and the wider region together for the traditional Market Sunday event at Lake Wendouree, but COVID safety is essential.<\/p>\n
\u201cEnsuring the health and safety of the community is paramount,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs an alternative this year, and to continue to be able to raise funds for our community, the SpringFest Online Raffle has been launched and is now up and running.\u201d<\/p>\n
