My first was a Nikon FE2. I cost $750 in 1984.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the greatest love of your life &#8211; apart from friends and family?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Photography and nature.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you could ask your pet one question, what would it be?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Do you see in colour?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What would you change if you could edit your past?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The anger I had as a teenager and which is now resolved, although it took 50 years to find out.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What or who inspires you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Aboriginal People.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is your favourite holiday destination?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mallacoota.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What music and television do you like?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some classical, 60s 70s music, John Lennon. ABC and non-fiction programs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is your favourite quote? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAging is an extraordinary process whereby you become the person you always should have been,\u201d David Bowie.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What person &#8211; living or dead would invite to dinner party?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Leonardo Da Vinci,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What technological\/scientific development boggles your mind?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My mobile phone with which I have a love hate relationship with<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What qualities do you admire in other people?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Compassion, love and RESPECT of the natural world.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What was your first job? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the school holidays: stacking sheep skins at a sheep\u2019s merchant, and picking spuds with my uncle.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What did you want to be when you were growing up?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A geologist.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What scares you? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nothing really &#8211; maybe the way humans treat nature and trees &#8211; abysmally.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What historical calamity would you choose to reverse?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wow! So many &#8211; I think the white settlement mistreatment of Aborigines.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you wish someone had told you when you were starting out?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Work hard now; save every cent you can, and retire young and see so much. You\u2019ll be 60 before you know it!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the best parenting advice you could give?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Love your children with boundaries and limits not presents, so they know you really love them.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the best parenting advice you have been given? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Listen to your kids, don\u2019t interrupt, and talk to them without distraction.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is your most embarrassing parenting moment?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My three-year old son vanished while I was babysitting him. I looked everywhere &#8211; the house, the street, and the nearby shops. Before I decided to call the police I took one more look in the bedroom. I thought I saw the doona move. The munchkin was there, asleep. I learned a lesson: make the bed!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the funniest thing you remember one of your kids saying, or doing?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I had a friend called Wally.
