SUPPORT more than thirty small businesses and the maintenance of Buninyong Town Hall by visiting the village\u2019s Christmas Pop-Up Shop.<\/p>\n
The Town Hall will be overflowing with festival stalls run by volunteers, selling the products of local artists, makers and producers, when it launches this Friday evening with a late-night shopping event until 8pm.<\/p>\n
An exhibition of upcycled wooden pallet Christmas trees will also brighten the visit of shoppers. The trees have been crafted by the Buninyong Men\u2019s Shed and decorated by local creatives.<\/p>\n
Buninyong Pop-Up Shop committee member Sharon Develyn said 2021 is the sixth year of the event, and lots of stalls a retuning including Purple Fox, DimpleDot Designs, Trudy Nicholson Art, Saltbush Kitchen, Rosie\u2019s Cottage, the Men\u2019s Shed, Durham Carnivores, and the popular wooden reindeer.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve spent a lot of time this year finding and including new makers, so we have the best range and mixture of stalls we\u2019ve ever had, from providore bits to plants,\u201d Ms Develyn said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s lots of new stallholders including Anne Chibnall, Oaky and Ginger Upcycled, Mind Your Own Beeswax, Nicola Cerini, Just Coz and Mia & Talbot candles, Vegas and Rose, Mr Jones and Big Jim\u2019s Chilli.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlso coming on board are Grow Kind terrariums, the Green Loft, Sweet Sage Farm, Wendy\u2019s Bags, Little Ray Bonnets, and more artists. We have some local kids making decorations as well.\u201d<\/p>\n
The committee is aiming for their biggest Pop-Up ever, and Ms Develyn said the group is pleased they have the chance to raise more money for the historic Town Hall which is used by community groups most days but is in need of a new dishwasher in the kitchen.<\/p>\n
The Buninyong Christmas Pop-Up Shop will run until Sunday, 12 October, open 10am to 4pm each day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
