THE Bannockburn and District Chamber of Commerce will release the second edition of their Bannockburn and District Business Directory in March.<\/p>\n
President Bronwyn Davie said the Chamber has 80 businesses booked for advertising, but hopes to include 120 in the 2022 book.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Directory is something that each Bannockburn and district home will have,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt can sit where the old phone book used to sit, and when someone needs a specific business, service or trade, they can easily look someone from the local area.\u201d<\/p>\n
Businesses must be Chamber members to advertise. Non-members who buy an ad will receive their membership as an inclusion within the ad rate. Advertising prices start at $150, with copywriting for an additional $30.<\/p>\n
Pre-existing Chamber members will receive a free ad on one eighth of a page, or they can pay extra for more room.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou must be a locally-based business to advertise, to ensure the directory is useful to our consumers,\u201d Ms Davie said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will accept those that are further away, as long as there is no competing business from the region. We don\u2019t have a carpet cleaning service in Bannockburn, for example.\u201d<\/p>\n
