\u201cUntil someone speaks to you, they don\u2019t know your story. We\u2019re always encouraged by the young voices that we hear, that step up. We\u2019re remembering for all the same reasons that people remember when there is pain that isn\u2019t seen.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe wouldn\u2019t have done it three years in a row if it wasn\u2019t something that we felt was worthy. It\u2019s something that can be ongoing, it\u2019s not just going to just stop.\u201d<\/p>\n
KEAG co-chair and City of Ballarat spokesperson Cr Belinda Coates said the service is now firmly embedded as a permanent annual event.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was as powerful as the first in my view,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom feedback from others who’ve attended before, or watched online, as well as people who attended for the first time, it had a powerful impact on them.<\/p>\n
