FEDERATION University is seeking feedback from the public on how they\u2019d like the tertiary institution to grow and develop into the future, while complementing the community.<\/p>\n
As part of the Campus Vision 2022-2025<\/em>, FedUni is set to upgrade the School of Mines campus in central Ballarat, and the Mount Helen site, as well as giving its Camp Street location over for community use.<\/p>\n The university is also seeking to overhaul the way it offers and teaches courses.<\/p>\n A company known as Village Well are set to facilitate a two-stage engagement period, collecting feedback in-person at events and online via a survey.<\/p>\n Federation University Australia vice-chancellor and president Professor Duncan Bentley said this data will further influence the campus vision, master plans, and the university\u2019s \u201cguiding principles.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOur campus vision presents a model for what a modern university can and should be; a strong, sustainable, and thriving university that will transform lives and enhance communities for generations to come,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cWe want our campuses to be places where members of the community feel welcome to come and enjoy, and places that will contribute to the character of our regions and improve the quality of life for all who live there.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are seeking feedback to help inform detailed master-planning for our campuses as the next step in bringing this vision to life, so we can start building a strong and sustainable university together.\u201d<\/p>\n
