Photo: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>To be in the running for one of five $1000 grants, the clubs in Ballarat or close surrounding areas will need to be an incorporated not-for-profit organisation, have an ABN that reflects that status and a bank account.<\/p>\n<p>Projects included in the grants must start after 1 May and be completed by 1 December.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know how much can be achieved with $5000 dollars which is why we are offering five $1000 grants to fund grassroots sport and active recreation clubs and organisations across Ballarat,\u201d Mr van der Lugt said.<\/p>\n<p>Applications close on 30 March and can be submitted via <strong>bit.ly\/3hmZZEy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HOME builder Metricon is offering five local sports organisations a chance to take one thousand dollars back to their club rooms.
