FEDERAL Member for Corangamite Libby Coker has made an election commitment to fund an undercover basketball court at Inverleigh Primary School if Labor is elected to government after 21 May.<\/p>\n
As part of the party\u2019s broader plan to boost the facilities within government schools after pandemic interruptions, Ms Coker said the project is something the students need at Inverleigh.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m pleased to commit to provide funding if a Labor government is elected,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cBasketball continues to be a growing sport, increasingly popular among girls and boys.<\/p>\n
\u201cI know that basketball is a popular sport with the kids of Inverleigh, which has produced some great young basketballers over recent years.<\/p>\n
\u201cAn undercover court will help to ensure the next generation of local players can train on a quality court that gives them the best chance to enjoy and excel at the sport.\u201d<\/p>\n
