in victory over the bottom placed Saints.<\/p>\n<p>Creswick were a bit more competitive with only strong kicking by Beaufort with the breeze in the final term seeing them fall by 40 points.<\/p>\n<p>They will have to take their opportunities in this one to avoid being blown off the park by the much more fancied Bungaree.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction: Bungaree by plenty.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Beaufort v Ballan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Back inside the top eight for the first time since 2019, the Crows can cement their place when they host the competition cellar dwellers in Ballan.<\/p>\n<p>The Blues continue to get blown off the park week after week and unfortunately this game doesn\u2019t present itself as a chance to bounce back with Beaufort the heavy favourites.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction: Beaufort make it four in a row.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Springbank v Daylesford<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tiger fans are daring to dream as they are one of the outside favourites to take the whole thing out in season 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Their 170-point mauling of Ballan on the weekend was highlighted by the even spread of destruction as Zac Bozanich kicked six, Connor Parkin five and best on ground Jordan Thompson chimed in with four of his own goals.<\/p>\n<p>They take on a Doggies line-up that has only registered the one win to date this year with their best footy only hindering an inevitable result it has to be said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction: Springbank by 40 who is flag favourite Gordon\u2019s first real challenger.<\/p>\n<p>The Hoppers slaughtered the Bulldogs while the Towners made their own statement overpowering Skipton in an impressive 26-point victory.<\/p>\n<p>Ben Collins and Will Henderson were super across the half back line for Dunnstown with their key ability to incept attacking foray asset for any side.<\/p>\n<p>Both sides are relatively young in terms of big game experience with this one coming down to whoever can take the opportunity to best and at the minute the Towners seem to be able to rise to any challenge put in front of them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction: Dunnstown in a tight one.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skipton v Learmonth<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Crunch game for the Lakies when they travel to the Skipton Recreation Reserve to take on an Emus outfit keen to bounce back after a disappointing loss to Dunnstown last round.<\/p>\n<p>It was a complete forward breakdown for the Emus which has been the case the last couple of seasons when they play the top sides.<\/p>\n<p>Learmonth present themselves a truly tricky opposition for any side in the league with their hard nose approach not one to be slept on.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction: Skipton by 15 points. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clunes v Waubra<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At 0-4 to start the season it is now or never for the Roos if they want to be a part of September action.<\/p>\n<p>They travel to play the Maggies keen to bounce back after three consecutive losses have found them outside the top eight.<\/p>\n<p>It is a similar story to season 2021 with their red-hot start to the season crashing to halt, finally Waubra may be able to smell the blood in the water.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction: Waubra win for the first time in season 2022. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hepburn v Newlyn<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Burra go in as firm favourites hosting Newlyn this weekend who will be desperate to recall Marcus Darmody who was a late withdrawal the loss to powerhouse Gordon.<\/p>\n<p>Despite his absence the Cats put in a respectful performance falling by only 26-points.<\/p>\n<p>However honourable losses will only get Chris Banwell and Newlyn so far, with this week meaning he\u2019ll have to go one better to keep their season alive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction: Hepburn comfortably.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gordon v Buninyong<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They are the best side in local footy, the Eagles remain unstoppable, and they host the hot and cold Bombers this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Buninyong\u2019s very best can match Gordon at the coal face but too many times the inconsistencies in their disposal efficiency has been at the forefront and they will
