This partnership demonstrates Barry Plant Ballarat\u2019s commitment to supporting cancer patients and their families in our community.<\/p>\n
As part of this partnership, Barry Plant are hosting our first Christmas Cancer Raffle.<\/p>\n
Every dollar raised will help the Wellness Centre provide free programs and support services to all cancer patients in our region.<\/p>\n
Prizes include an awesome Fliteboard, accommodation packages at Mollymook in New South Wales, as well as Port Fairy and Torquay, a kid\u2019s cubby house, and property styling and photoshoot vouchers.<\/p>\n
Tickets are $10 each or six for $50 and the raffle will be drawn on 1 December.<\/p>\n
Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre Wellness Centre is a welcoming retreat for cancer patients and their families and carers across our community, regardless of where they are having treatment.<\/p>\n
It provides a range of support and education services, at no cost. The Wellness Centre is 100 per cent community funded and relies upon community donations to provide its essential services.<\/p>\n
Funds raised through this raffle go directly to assist the numerous programs the Wellness Centre provides to mentally and physically support patients.<\/p>\n
Programs include massage, relaxation, mindfulness, shiatsu therapy, bra and breast form fittings, financial advice, support groups, yoga, meditation, art, music and the Delta Dog program.<\/p>\n
The Wellness Centre has become an important part of patients\u2019 experience while receiving treatment, all programs are at no cost to users.<\/p>\n
