ANIMALS will be on the agenda for visitors to next week\u2019s Inverleigh Good Friday Appeal event.<\/p>\n
Wildlife Xposure, a specialist in interactive animal presentations, will be donating their time, animals and expertise for the cause.<\/p>\n
The company shows a range of unique Australian wildlife where children can get hands on with the creatures.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe do interactive wildlife incursions and events, and we teach children about the importance of biodiversity, sustainability and Australian wildlife,\u201d said owner Madeleine Morello.<\/p>\n
\u201cBy teaching children from an early age with that hands on experience it evokes a passion inside them to want to protect animals later in life.\u201d<\/p>\n
Inverleigh Good Friday Appeal organisers welcomed Wildlife Xposure\u2019s donation of their time and expertise.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s something the animal experience provider was keen to do.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve always done a good Friday appeal event,\u201d said Ms Morello. \u201cInverleigh isn\u2019t too far from where we\u2019re based in Torquay and it\u2019s just a wonderful cause.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s something close to our hearts, children. We\u2019re in a position where we can and are happy to donate our time.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ms Morello said she hopes the day is a fun experience for children and their families.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe hope that we are there not only as a form of entertainment but also as a form of education on diverse Australian wildlife,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
The Inverleigh Good Friday Appeal will be held at Victoria Park at Inverleigh from 10am to 4pm on Friday, 7 April.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
