BANNOCKBURN and District Chamber of Commerce\u2019s third annual business directory is set to be released this winter, and advertising spaces are now available for enterprises to snap up.<\/p>\n
Chamber president Bronwyn Davie said local traders and community groups have an opportunity to promote their products, services, and work in the full-colour A4-sized publication.<\/p>\n
In a world where marketing is mostly moving online, Ms Davie said Bannockburn locals still enjoy a hard copy booklet, and the directory will be distributed across the region.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur population loves having a hard copy, they miss it,\u201d she said. \u201cWe\u2019ve distributed previous editions through the old shopping centre, putting out two boxes, and they just went.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople grabbed them because they were good quality, full of good information, and they could get in touch with community news. It\u2019s a good local source.\u201d<\/p>\n
Gary Cain Cabinets\u2019 Michelle Cain said the directory has provided the perfect opportunity for their family business to try advertising during a time of change, and at an affordable rate.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe moved to Bannockburn just before COVID, which made running our business difficult,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were keen to join the chamber to get in contact with other local businesses, and to try and increase our presence out here.<\/p>\n
\u201cBeing a part of the directory was our first go at advertising since we started the business seven years ago.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo move the business out here and pick up clients so quickly, with the support of the chamber, has been really positive.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ms Davie said directory advertising is open to local business who are members of the Chamber.<\/p>\n
\u201cYour ad includes a free chamber membership of the value of $120, along with all the networking and business benefits that entails,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cPrices begin at $150, and advert copy creation is available for an additional $50.\u201d<\/p>\n
