KRYAL Castle will be celebrating all things enchanted with an upcoming event this June.<\/p>\n

The Festival of Magic will allow visitors to learn about and explore the history of magic and wizardry.<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/strong>It\u2019s our second year running it, last year it was called the witches and wizards festival, but we rebranded it as the Festival of Magic,\u201d said Kryal Castle CEO Bart Hamilton.<\/p>\n

There will be performances, wand making and spell-casting workshops, potion making classes and food stalls.<\/p>\n

Melbourne magician Luke Blaze will also be making an appearance.<\/p>\n

\u201cPretty much anything magical you can think of, we\u2019ve got it there for the long weekend,\u201d said Mr Hamilton.<\/p>\n

\u201cLast year we had about 4000 people come and this year we think it will be 5000 of 6000.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s just such a long-lasting love of all things magical throughout the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s something for kids who can come and pretend to be witches and wizards and for those adults who are into the dark magic arts there\u2019s something for them as well.<\/p>\n

Mr Hamilton said the return of the Festival of Magic is a reflection of Kryal Castle\u2019s continuing move towards multi-day events with the aim of drawing more tourists to Ballarat.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the multi day events are a success because we do have a lot of people who stay more than one day which helps the region,\u201d said Mr Hamilton.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur visitation has doubled since last year and we hope next year it will double again.\u201d<\/p>\n
