A TRIBUTE show to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons will take to the stage at the Wendouree Centre for Performing Arts next month.<\/p>\n
After a successful 10-year tour of the UK, Frankie\u2019s Guys is making its debut in Australia.<\/p>\n
Cast members include stars from London\u2019s West End and are internationally renowned for their faithful recreation of the bands iconic sound.<\/p>\n
Fans of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons can look forward to renditions of classics like Sherry and Big Girls Don\u2019t Cry.<\/p>\n
The man responsible for bringing Frankie\u2019s Guys to Australia is producer Sam Klingner of Brisbane based SK productions.<\/p>\n
A long-time fan of the 60\u2019s group, Mr Klingner knew he wanted to bring the phenomenon that is Frankie\u2019s Guys to Australian audiences.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo one was really doing what they were doing at the time. They had such an iconic sound and this show really does recreate that sound in an incredibly brilliant way,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Mr Klingner said he is passionate about bringing high-quality live theatre and entertainment to the regional centres of Australia.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just love giving people the opportunity to just escape for a few hours in the theatre,\u201d he commented.<\/p>\n
\u201cMaybe they have had a bad day at work, or they happen to be going through a really challenging time in their life,<\/p>\n
\u201cWhatever it might be, a few hours can really make a huge difference. So that\u2019s what special to me about producing live theatre.\u201d<\/p>\n
