He will also present his drone shots which capture neutral-coloured landscapes from the air.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re all in earthy tones, which go so well with my birds,\u201d Ms Lambeth said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s good for me to exhibit my sculptures with 2D work, which can take up the wall space.\u201d<\/p>\n
Apart since they were young, only recently have the Lambeth siblings been living in close geographic proximity.<\/p>\n
Up until two years ago, Ms Lambeth was still living in Darwin, but although they were separated, the brother and sister have grown to be alike.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a good opportunity for both of us to just showcase how similar our art is in some ways,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cSometimes when siblings sing, they harmonise, and in a lot of ways, I think our work complements each other, even though we\u2019ve led such entirely different lives.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ms Lambeth is a former professional fisher, and a marine environment advocate.<\/p>\n
Now a member of Linton Craft Group, she creates her mixed media work at home in the town, mainly out of recycled materials.<\/p>\n
The exhibition will be held at the Old Butchers Shop Gallery from Saturday 2 September until Sunday 24 September. The gallery will be open each weekend from 12pm to 3pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
