GRAMPIANS Health is set to partner with a series of hospitals and research institutions as part of the State Government\u2019s Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing.<\/p>\n
A statement from Grampians Health said the centre will be the first of its kind in Australia and will seek to bring together people with lived experiences as well as researchers and health professionals to improve the mental health system.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis partnership is important to Grampians Health and we are honoured to be named one of the supporting networks,\u201d said Craig Wilding, GH\u2019s CEO of community and aged care.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur commitment to working together to improve mental health and wellbeing for our local communities and all Victorians is central to our service design and delivery.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Royal Melbourne Hospital and the University of Melbourne will lead the effort, supported by 20 institutions and community services with a focus on Aboriginal health and wellbeing.<\/p>\n
