SPRINGFEST is another week closer, and the Rotary Club of Ballarat\u2019s major fundraising market day is set to be presented by Optus in 2023.<\/p>\n

The telecommunications company has returned as the family event\u2019s naming rights sponsor for another year, first partnering with the SpringFest committee in 2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpringFest is an exciting time in Ballarat and has been enjoyed by the community for years,\u201d said Optus local general manager for Victoria, Jayson Grool.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are thrilled to be involved with the event again this year and look forward to a great day out.<\/p>\n

\u201cOptus is always looking at ways to support local initiatives that give back to the community, and are important to our customers and our team.\u201d<\/p>\n

As part of the business\u2019 involvement, a big activation space, including a large Optus screen, will pop up at SpringFest.<\/p>\n

Rotary Club of Ballarat member Simone Howden dropped into the Optus store at Stockland Wendouree last Tuesday morning to meet local staff.<\/p>\n

She said without the financial backing and assistance from key sponsors like Optus, SpringFest couldn\u2019t go ahead.<\/p>\n

\u201cEarlier this year, they came on board as the major sponsor again and having their commitment really boosts our ability to plan a wonderful event,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cKnowing of their commitment, it\u2019s given us the confidence to make SpringFest 2023 bigger and better than ever.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe encourage everybody to head along to the Optus area and engage with their installations.\u201d<\/p>\n

SpringFest will be held on Sunday 26 November along the roadway of the gardens precinct at Lake Wendouree, between St Aidans Drive and Carlton Street.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
