{"id":93170,"date":"2023-09-27T04:57:38","date_gmt":"2023-09-26T18:57:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/?p=93170"},"modified":"2023-10-18T18:15:23","modified_gmt":"2023-10-18T07:15:23","slug":"bavarian-brews-at-kryal-castle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/news\/bavarian-brews-at-kryal-castle\/","title":{"rendered":"Bavarian brews at Kryal Castle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KRYAL Castle is set to be host of an Oktoberfest celebration next month with beer, food, and music.<\/p>\n<p>Artists such as the Rockafellas, Joel Fletcher and Discovery Daft Punk Tribute Show will be performing along with Melbourne Oompah, Big Twisty and The Funknasty.<\/p>\n<p>A range of food and drink will be on offer with Bavarian dishes like bratwurst and soft pretzels as well as a plenty of beer.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees are encouraged to wear German lederhosen or dirndl to embrace the experience.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first year Kryal Castle will independently run the event which was last held in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we looked around the castle and it\u2019s an awesome place that really fits the theme,\u201d said Kryal Castle CEO Bart Hamilton.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBallarat doesn\u2019t have an Oktoberfest and they\u2019re becoming increasingly popular around Australia so for us it\u2019s a marriage of perfect location and perfect time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The day will be a combination of world-class music acts and elements of the traditional German festival.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve got an incredible artists line up with internationally renowned music acts,\u201d said Mr Hamilton.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019ll also be traditional Oktoberfest stuff so the big, long tables, drinking steins and Viking helmets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019ll be a nice mix of the traditional Oktoberfest experience and a music festival.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event marks the start of a series of music festivals Kryal Castle will be holding into December on top of what has been a busy year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we\u2019ve had a great year and the beauty of it is it ranges from the unicorn festival which is quite childlike and then smashing pumpkins and Oktoberfest which are for adults,\u201d said Mr Hamilton.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI definitely think we\u2019re getting out there and I think this is just the start as we move into next year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Oktoberfest and Kryal Castle will be on Saturday 21 October from 12pm, with tickets starting at $66.30 and they can be purchased from the Kryal Castle website.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to immerse yourself in the essence of Germany, check out the online entertainments accessible <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casinostest.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">through this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KRYAL Castle is set to be host of an Oktoberfest celebration next month with beer, food, and music.
