A LOCAL business is aims to spread kindness and generosity by providing premade or build your own hampers filled with local products from small enterprisers in the region.<\/p>\n
Teesdale-based Ripple Effect Gifts are delivering locally sourced handmade hampers throughout the Golden Pians and beyond.<\/p>\n
Delivery is available to the Shire as well as Geelong, Ballarat and surrounding areas and next day delivery is available for orders placed before 4pm.<\/p>\n
\u201cOnline you get to choose from a bunch of locally sourced products from Golden Plains, Ballarat, Geelong and the Surf Cost from other small businesses,\u201d said owner Jaque Gill.<\/p>\n
\u201cI then make the hampers which are made out of wood.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ms Gill said the idea behind the business is to support other organisations with a \u201cripple effect\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe whole concept of this business is to give back to the community,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s called Ripple Effect because I want to give back to other small businesses by getting their name out there.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s that constant domino effect of the gift of giving.\u201d<\/p>\n
The business is already receiving an influx of orders heading into the holiday season and Ms Gill encouraged people to get their orders in early.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re definitely looking to get bigger over Christmas and we\u2019re already doing some settlement hampers from real estate agencies,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe also already have orders coming in for staff Christmas gifts, so I think we\u2019re going to get a lot of that coming into Christmas.\u201d<\/p>\n
