{"id":94211,"date":"2023-10-26T04:56:51","date_gmt":"2023-10-25T17:56:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/?p=94211"},"modified":"2023-10-25T15:46:06","modified_gmt":"2023-10-25T04:46:06","slug":"fright-night-horrors-coming-to-the-castle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/news\/fright-night-horrors-coming-to-the-castle\/","title":{"rendered":"Fright night horrors coming to the castle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THIS Halloween, an outing to Kryal Castle is going to be frightfully fun.<\/p>\n<p>The theme park\u2019s Halloween Horror Night after-dark programming on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 October will include nightmarish mazes, while trick-or-treat daytime events on Saturday 28, and Sunday 29 of October will be family friendly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDr Frankenstein\u2019s Spooky Scavenger Hunt at trick-or-treat will see the castle transformed into a trail of quirky surprises and challenges,\u201d CEO Bart Hamilton said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy solving ghoulish riddles and challenges, kids can earn themselves a tasty trick-or-treat bag.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVisitors can also meet some spooky new friends along the way with characters such as the Bride of Frankenstein and Dracula walking the castle grounds.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Visitors are welcome to dress up for the season, and get their face painted, to take part in a costume parade.<\/p>\n<p>For those up for a chilling challenge, the Halloween Knight School will be open for sword-fighting, archers can aim for some pumpkins, and the Zombie Survival axe-throwing activity will require a sharp mind and arm.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019ll also be a dark and entertaining motorcycle joust to watch, alongside a sword fight to the death.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo get a touch of Halloween magic, kids can join the Wizard Guild to meet the mysterious wizard and even learn some spells,\u201d Mr Hamilton said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith Halloween-themed food and drink on offer as well as Kryal Castle\u2019s iconic medieval Trial by Combat, and jousting also on display, it will be the perfect way for families to enjoy the spooky season.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Food and drinks, and music will also be on offer.<\/p>\n<p>Halloween Horror Night is for people over the age of 14 and visit kryalcastlehalloween.com.au for more information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>THIS Halloween, an outing to Kryal Castle is going to be frightfully fun.
