A TASTE of agricultural life is coming to this year\u2019s SpringFest, with major sponsor and farming machinery business, Growers Services, setting up vehicles and equipment on site to show off.<\/p>\n
Growers Services operator Travis Mitchell said some of their Kubota mowers and tractors from 18 to 170 horsepower will be on display.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will also be displaying Kubota excavators and skid steers which are renowned for their reliability and durability,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe also have Krone hay equipment, Faresin telehandlers and feed mixers, slashers, seeders, generators and much more to show.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe high rate of grass growth and wet ground in the Ballarat area makes it important to get a quality product that is tough and suits the task.\u201d<\/p>\n
SpringFest coordinator Nicole Bartlett said Growers Services will be located in front of the floral clock during the market Sunday event, which is the centre of the whole gardens precinct.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re grateful to have the backing of the business, and for the first time under the name of Growers Services,\u201d she said. \u201cThey have also increased their sponsorship support this year.\u201d<\/p>\n
SpringFest will be held on Sunday 26 November along the roadway of the gardens precinct at Lake Wendouree, between St Aidans Drive and Carlton Street.<\/p>\n
The festival is a Rotary Club of Ballarat initiative raising money for community beneficiaries, and local and international Rotary projects.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
