CROWDS gathered at the Regent Cinema last Friday to celebrate the launch of a Christmas themed children\u2019s book.<\/p>\n

Liam Abery wrote the book Letter to Santa<\/em> with the aim of spreading Christmas joy to children and their families.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe book is about Christmas and how Santa brings gifts to all the children,\u201d he said. \u201cI wanted to focus on Christmas because I love kids and the joy it brings to everyone.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen people read the book I hope the feel love, compassion and enjoyment.\u201d<\/p>\n

The writing process has taken Abery a number of months, but he said it was well worth the wait.<\/p>\n

\u201cA couple of friends of mine have written books so I thought it would be good to write one,\u201d he said. \u201cIt was a really time consuming process and I worked on it for five to six months.<\/p>\n

\u201cI kept working on it because I wanted to do something to challenge myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Avery urged anyone who is considering writing a book to pursue their passion.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf anyone is considering writing a book come and talk to me and also don\u2019t be afraid to ask for advice from anyone who has written a book,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
