{"id":94496,"date":"2023-11-10T04:53:00","date_gmt":"2023-11-09T17:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/?p=94496"},"modified":"2023-11-09T09:51:03","modified_gmt":"2023-11-08T22:51:03","slug":"get-ready-its-show-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/news\/get-ready-its-show-time\/","title":{"rendered":"Get ready, it\u2019s Show time!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Popular community event is on this Friday, Saturday and Sunday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>THE time is now for the Ballarat Times 2023 Ballarat Show and there is so much fun in store!<\/p>\n<p>Taking place from Friday 10 November until Saturday 12 November there are plenty of activities, rides and entertainment on offer for people of all ages.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s the ninetieth birthday that the Show is celebrating and it\u2019s shaping up to be a really great weekend with a great buzz around town,\u201d said Show ambassador Tim Bone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe haven\u2019t had a really bold and big show with COVID over the last few years, so I think everyone\u2019s really excited about it.\u201d\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Kids 14 and under can attend the Show for free and there are a range of free activities on offer such as cooking demonstrations by Tim Bone, biscuit making, animal interactions and blacksmith demonstrations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA big plus for this weekend is that kids 14 and under get in free which is great especially with the cost of living and families tightening the purse strings,\u201d Bone said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the show organisers to offer that is really fantastic.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_94498\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-94498\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-94498\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2023\/11\/IMG_9438-web-600x380.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"380\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-94498\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Ballarat Show has so much on offer for people of all ages like rides, showbags and the always popular sideshow alley.
