{"id":94625,"date":"2023-11-13T04:58:32","date_gmt":"2023-11-12T17:58:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/?p=94625"},"modified":"2023-11-11T01:55:20","modified_gmt":"2023-11-10T14:55:20","slug":"cars-to-glow-and-shine-at-springfest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/news\/cars-to-glow-and-shine-at-springfest\/","title":{"rendered":"Cars to glow and shine at SpringFest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"x_ContentPasted20 x_ContentPasted21\">EVEN if the sun isn\u2019t shining on SpringFest\u2019s market Sunday by Lake Wendouree, some classic and brand-new\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"x_ContentPasted20 x_ContentPasted21\">cars\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"x_ContentPasted20 x_ContentPasted21\">will be.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Show N Glow will return to the south of the Ballarat Botanical Gardens on Sunday 26 November from 10am to 4pm.<\/p>\n<p>Presented by Peter Stevens Motorworld, the car show is set to feature some new models from the dealership, Ballarat Road Rodders members\u2019 vintage vehicles, as well as some owned by the general public.<\/p>\n<p>Eligible rides include hot-rods, classic, historic, and custom cars, and specialty Vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor everyone at Peter Stevens Motorworld, being part of Springfest is to support our local community where it counts most,\u201d Peter Stevens Motorworld director Matthew Newey said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are always proud to sponsor the Show N Glow and encourage everyone to come along and enjoy this special day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Participants can contest trophies and award packs across the categories of Peter Stevens MG Director\u2019s Choice, SpringFest Ballarat Ambassador\u2019s Choice, Rotary Club of Ballarat Choice, and the Ballarat Road Rodders Choice.<\/p>\n<p>Entertainment will be on site including live band performances, and a rock-and-roll dance floor.<\/p>\n<p>For those wanting to enter the event on the day, Ballarat Road Rodders marshals will direct people at Carlton Street before 9.30am.<\/p>\n<p>Entry is $5, and spectators are encouraged to make a gold coin donation.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"x_ContentPasted20 x_ContentPasted21 x_ContentPasted22\">SpringFest will be held\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"x_ContentPasted20 x_ContentPasted21 x_ContentPasted22\">along\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"x_ContentPasted20 x_ContentPasted21 x_ContentPasted22\">the roadway of the\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"x_ContentPasted20 x_ContentPasted21 x_ContentPasted22\">gardens\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"x_ContentPasted20 x_ContentPasted21 x_ContentPasted22\">precinct, between St Aidans Drive and Carlton Street.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The festival is a Rotary Club of Ballarat initiative raising money for community beneficiaries, and local and international Rotary projects.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EVEN if the sun isn\u2019t shining on SpringFest\u2019s market Sunday by Lake Wendouree, some classic and brand-new\u00a0cars\u00a0will be.
