SPRINGFEST market Sunday will fill Wendouree Parade\u2019s gardens precinct with colour and life this weekend.<\/p>\n

The event set for 10am to 4pm on Sunday 26 November, between Carlton Street and St Aidans Drive and is a Rotary Club of Ballarat project that supports community partners.<\/p>\n

Parking is available on surrounding streets, and at Ballarat High School.<\/p>\n

SpringFest ambassadors Jules Zass and Tim Bone have 10 top tips to make the most of the day.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1 – Get there early!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t miss a thing. There is so much for the family to see and do, you don\u2019t want to arrive late and rush.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2 – Pack some cash<\/strong><\/p>\n

Most stallholders will have eftpos available, but cash is still king and helps keep track of how much you\u2019re spending.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

3 – Slip, slop, slap!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our Ballarat winter skin is extra sensitive, so come prepared and keep the family sun safe. Hats and sunscreen are a must!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

4 – Don\u2019t eat beforehand<\/strong><\/p>\n

There\u2019ll be food trucks to suit all cravings and taste buds. The biggest problem you\u2019ll have is choosing!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

5 – Pack a picnic rug<\/strong><\/p>\n

Set up a family base in our beautiful lake\/gardens precinct to settle in for the day, or have a break from exploring.<\/p>\n

6 – Prams or strollers<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking from experience, the novelty of walking with mum and dad can get old quickly for little ones, and cut your day short. Save their legs with a pram or stroller which doubles as a carrier for market purchases.<\/p>\n

7 – Pack reusable bottles and bags<\/strong><\/p>\n

Springfest is an environmentally friendly event, and there are plenty of places to top up your water bottles.<\/p>\n

8 – Christmas is coming!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Make a list of some gifts you need to buy from the treasure trove of stalls.<\/p>\n
