WITH the school term set to end and some senior students looking at tertiary options, next month will see Federation University campuses opened for prospective enrolments.<\/p>\n
On Thursday 12 December the institution will host information days for potential future students to tour the facilities and meet with advisors as part of the college\u2019s annual Info Day.<\/p>\n
Federation University\u2019s vice-chancellor and president Professor Duncan Bentley said the day is about showing attendees what options are available at the campus.<\/p>\n
\u201cInfo Day is a wonderful opportunity to help prospective students choose the course or pathway that is right for them and gain valuable knowledge about the flexibility, support and scholarships available to them at Federation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Info Day will run from 1pm to 5pm at the college\u2019s Mount Helen and Camp Street campuses, as well as the Berwick and Gippsland locations.<\/p>\n
A TAFE Pathways to Success presentation will be held at Fed Uni\u2019s SMB site on Wednesday 6 December from 6pm.<\/p>\n
Professor Bentley said info day isn\u2019t just for those graduating high school.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe aim to make a real difference to the lives of every student who walks through our doors,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhether they are the first in their family to attend university or returning to study after being in the workforce, our students can succeed wherever they start on their study journey, through a suite of courses designed, developed and delivered in partnership with industry as part of our co-operative education model.\u201d<\/p>\n
