THE next phase of development for MaxiTRANS is underway with more than fifty million dollars set to be spent of further developing Ballarat manufacturing site.<\/p>\n
The businesses Queensland based facility will close in March with the relocation of production of tipper trailers and truck bodies to Ballarat already begun.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe transition to Ballarat, coupled with the implementation of new manufacturing equipment and processes, will help further strengthen our already strong position in the bulk tipper market, as well as facilitate in streamlining the distribution of our extensive range through our national dealer network.\u201d<\/p>\n
The aim of the upgrade is to create a modern manufacturing environment and increase sustainability.<\/p>\n
\u201cSince Australian Trailer Solutions Group purchased the MaxiTRANS trailer business, our focus has been on setting the business up for long-term sustainability,\u201d said Mr L\u2019Estrange.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlong with expanding the overall footprint of the facility, this investment will see the business transform the Ballarat site into a modern manufacturing environment, ensuring our business is well positioned to support the evolving needs of our customers.\u201d<\/p>\n
