MASTER Builders Victoria\u2019s Regional Apprentice Awards were held in Ballarat last week with three local apprentices recognised.<\/p>\n
The awards ceremony was one of five across the state with others held in the Gippsland, North East, South East and Bendigo regions.<\/p>\n
The Ballarat Chairperson\u2019s award went to Mitchell Walsh from Ballarat North for his persistence, skill and dedication to his work.<\/p>\n
He is employed by Anderson Builders and fourth year carpentry apprentice.<\/p>\n
Tyson Strachan from Warrenheip won the Apprentice of the Year Ballarat – Future Builder award.<\/p>\n
Mr Strachan is also a fourth-year carpentry apprentice and is employed by Josh Ryan Carpentry.<\/p>\n
The final award, Apprentice of the Year Ballarat – Developing Leader Award went to Devon Orr, also a fourth-year carpentry apprentice.<\/p>\n
Mr Orr works for Stuart Allen Building.<\/p>\n
Master Builders Victoria CEO, Michaela Lihou, congratulated all the award recipients and nominees.<\/p>\n
