VOTERS in the Golden Plains local government area will have the same ward structure at this year’s council election.<\/p>\n

While many Victorian electorates’ wards are being re-subdivided as of 2024, seven councillors will serve the entire Golden Plains Shire over the next four years.<\/p>\n

Voting in this election is by post only. The Victorian Electoral Commission will post ballot packs to all enrolled voters from Monday 7 October.<\/p>\n

Your ballot pack will contain:<\/p>\n

\u2022 A ballot paper<\/p>\n

\u2022 Candidate statements<\/p>\n

\u2022 A ballot paper envelope (for your vote to go in)<\/p>\n

\u2022 A reply-paid envelope (for your ballot paper envelope to go in), and<\/p>\n

\u2022 A leaflet with instructions in other languages.<\/p>\n

Follow the instructions in your ballot pack to complete your vote.<\/p>\n

Make sure you post it or drop it off at the election office before 6pm on Friday 25 October. Local mail collection times differ, so check the collection time on your post box to make sure your vote is in the mail on time.<\/p>\n

If you are going to be away between Monday 7 October and Friday 25 October, you may still be able to vote.<\/p>\n
