The beloved Budjerah is returning to his home ground on his coming Therapy Sessions Tour, which includes Brunswick Heads as the only exception on an all-major city national run for the Fingal Head-based artist.

The multi-platinum, two-time ARIA winner has released his latest with Warner Music, “Is It Ever Gonna Make Sense” – a raw and emotional performance co-written with G-Flip and Aidan Hogg.

Initially about the 22-year-old artist’s struggle with quitting coffee, the song morphed into a broader expression of frustration. Budjerah said the song was about how he was feeling about every aspect of his life.

“My life, in the last couple of years, has changed so much, thanks to my fans,” he said.

“But at times, it’s been a little tough to deal with, with so many different things happening at once. This song simply puts all my emotions into about three minutes.”

Budjerah was first catapulted to the screen in the 2019 season of The Voice when he famously did not turn one of the big red chairs. Last year, Budjerah opened for Ed Sheeran on the superstar’s sold-out stadium tour after collaborating with the Sheeran on 2Step. He later sold out his own headline show for VIVID Live at the Sydney Opera House.

The artist is happy with how his trajectory has panned out. His platinum single “Therapy” was streamed 50 million times with more than 15 million listens on Spotify.

The Therapy Sessions Tour takes in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, and Melbourne and wraps up at Brunswick Picture House on Saturday, September 28.
