Caldera Chamber Ensemble presents Movies and Musicals

THE Caldera Chamber Ensemble will present a new concert, Movies and Musicals, bringing together some of the most iconic music from film and stage.

Designed to appeal to all ages, the program will open with a John Williams medley featuring themes from Star Wars, Jurassic Park and Indiana Jones.

Classics including Lara’s Theme from Dr Zhivago, Moon River and the theme from The Godfather will also be performed.

Arrangements from Rocket Man, Mamma Mia and Bohemian Rhapsody will bring Elton John, ABBA and Queen into the mix, alongside favourites such as I Dreamed a Dream from Les Misérables and Memory from Cats.

Audience members are invited to dress as their favourite movie or musical character.

The concert will be held at Stokers Siding Hall on Sunday, September 21, from 2pm (doors open 1pm). Tickets are available online at www.trybooking.com/DEQFG or at Murwillumbah Music Store.

Adults $55, concession $45, students $10, and students 18 years and over $20. Barry’s Bakery will again be operating on site.
