THE newest Byron Bay not-so-secret mid-weeknight out has launched at Three Blue Ducks in a celebration of spring with a Locals Night each Thursday at The Farm.

Darren Robertson and his team have always been passionate about fostering a strong connection with the community, and the chef and restaurateur believes in the establishment’s part in the local ecosystem.

“It’s a system that supports one another through thick and thin,” he said.

“Whether it’s building relationships with local growers for our menus, showcasing local products in our store or working with other schools, businesses or charities in our area, the whole thing for us is about connecting through food.”

The Locals Night features a special ‘one night only’ two-course menu showcasing popular dishes, with a side, for under $50. Guests can select from a menu of the Ducks’ most popular dishes from a recently refreshed dinner menu featuring the signature beef tartare, charred squid, polenta gnocchi, lamb shank massaman, eggplant parmigiana and more.

“But really, it’s more about creating a space for locals to kick back with a meal, a sunset drink, and some live music to enjoy,” Robertson said.

“We wanted to create a special night to celebrate the local community that has supported us over the years and give something back to the people who really make our restaurant what it is.”
